Dundy County Stratton Drivers Education
The Summer Driver Education Program begins Monday May 20-Friday May 24. Classes meet from 8:00 to 1200. We will meet in room 211 which is Mr Schaub’s room. Students are required by the State of Nebraska to be present in the classroom for twenty hours of class work. It is essential that they attend the 20 classroom hours. Anytime missed will have to be made up. Driving time behind the wheel for each student is five hours plus testing time. Driving times can be adjusted to meet the needs of the individual student while class time cannot.
Students who attain the age of 14 on or before October 15 of the current year are eligible for the Dundy County/Stratton Driver Education Program. Students will need to successfully complete a learners permit test on their own at a DMV office. Students who successfully complete this state certified course and driving test offered by Mr Schaub the Course instructor will not have to take a driving test at the courthouse in order to receive the Provisional operator's permit. The testing procedures are the same for those seeking a school permit.
